Silke Krebs was born on 23 March 1966 in Aschaffenburg, Bavaria. She is a mother of one. On 30 June 2022, she was appointed State Secretary for Economic Affairs, Industry, Climate Action and Energy in the state government of North Rhine-Westphalia.
